American Canyon Instrumental Music Boosters
Parents should bookmark this page for parent specific news that may be posted here prior to and after important booster meetings.
By definition, the role of the booster organization is to “boost” the instrumental music program in a positive manner. The purpose of the American Canyon High School Instrumental Music Boosters is to advance the best interests of the American Canyon High School Band, Color Guard, and Orchestra programs by providing support, as requested by the director(s). All parents or guardians of students enrolled in the instrumental music program are members of the non-profit American Canyon High School Instrumental Music Boosters organization. Maintaining a thriving instrumental music program requires support and fundraising beyond what is provided by the school system.
The mission of the American Canyon Instrumental Music Boosters is to support the students and programs associated with the American Canyon High School Instrumental Music Program, under the direction of Mr. Smith. The boosters are volunteers that work to provide the students of the American Canyon Instrumental Music Program with the best educational experience possible. Please consider making a difference by making a contribution whether it be volunteering and/or financial, today!
While fundraising is a major part of what the boosters do, it is not the sole purpose of the organization. Our band booster organization is one of the few ways you can actively be involved in your child's high school education. It's a great way to connect with your student and support an activity they are passionate about. Your most important contribution will always be your presence. Simply being involved sends a powerful message to your son or daughter. There is no substitute for this precious and priceless gift. Get started by showing up to a booster meeting!
Monthly Booster Meetings
All parents are strongly encouraged to attend meetings to receive important information about the music program. Meetings are usually the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Instrumental Music Room (B133). Meetings are warm, welcoming, and efficient!

Keep up with the Boosters and get reminders via text and e-mail
We created a music boosters Remind account (like what Mr. Smith uses to send out messages to the students) Please send a text to this number: 81010 and type this message:@achsmusic to join this group; or to receive emails, send a message to: firstname.lastname@example.org. This will be a great way for us to keep parents better informed about booster news and events.
As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us at: email@example.com
Below are some boosters that you may contact directly if you have specific questions. If you click on one of the golden names below, you will be able to e-mail that particular booster. Boosters are every day people who work jobs like many of us. Please allow them time to respond to your e-mail. We are still looking to fill quite a few positions in some committee chairs. In most cases, we can have multiple people on a committee, chairing the position(s). If something is OPEN, please e-mail Mr. Smith or Mrs. Banks on the details of the committee. A PDF document with each position will be available before the May 10th booster meeting.
